Replacement of variable frequency drive for pump 4 at Terrace Hall The Town of Burlington ( Town'), acting through its Department of Public Works, is seeking bids from qualified contractors to complete the scope of work contained herein and generally referred to as the Terrace Hall Sewer Station Pump 4 VFD Replacement Project.. Questions concerning this Invitation for Bids must be submitted in writing to: Rachel Leonardo at rleonardo@burlington.org by August 7th, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Work Scope Summary: Remove and dispose of existing Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) for pump 4 and associated cabinet. Provide and install new VFD, NEMA 1 kit, labor, and all materials necessary for installation and startup. Pump shall be a new 250 HP Yaskawa Matrix z1000U VFD Part# ZU4E0302AUA or equal NEMA 1 kit Part# EZZ022745F or equal. New VFD shall be installed and mounted to the wall in the location of the previous pump 4 VFD. The contractor is responsible for providing all materials, including any junction boxes, troughs, wiring, flex, lugs, Unistrut etc. All terminations including but not limited to line, load, and communications will be made and verified by the contactor. The unit will be tested for proper operation and function. Contractor shall perform factory authorized startup and provide training of VFD operation to Burlington Department of Public Works employees upon completion of installation. Any associated manuals and warranty information shall be provided at the time of completion. Due to the vital nature of this component, contractor shall provide proof of material and part acquisition within 30 days of contract signing
