Construction of a new prefabricated concrete building housing a new boiler/heat exchanger unit with digester gas piping, sludge piping, lighting, HVAC, site civil work including paving, grading, buried piping installation, electrical, process instrumentation, SCADA integration, and piping and valve modifications. The Work consists of equipment, materials, and labor associated with a new Heat Exchanger and Boiler Building with new heat exchanger/boiler, sludge piping, digester gas piping, electrical, controls, and SCADA integration. Work shall include all electrical, controls, SCADA integration, mechanical, floor drain plumbing, and structural work to complete a functional and complete system in accordance with drawings and specifications. 1 . Contract includes: A new precast concrete building with cast-in-place foundation. Overhead door, man doors, heating, ventilation, and lighting. Electrical including trenching and new power feed to the new building and distribution panelboard for lighting, HVAC, and boiler control panel. HVAC including exhaust fan, louver, unit heater. Plumbing including floor drain. Installation of new heat exchanger/boiler unit with ancillary instrumentation including manometer, pressure sensor and indicating transmitter, thermal mass flow meter, and gas detection safety sensors and panel. SCADA integration of heat exchanger/boiler alarms and monitored sensors and flow meters. Modification of existing sludge and digester gas piping in the existing Digester Building. Demolition of existing heat exchanger/boiler and appurtenances. Repair of abandoned openings and penetrations in existing Digester Building. Bid Alternate: Demolition of existing electrical conduit, wiring, and connections to the existing heat exchanger/boiler in the existing Electrical Room of the existing Digester Building
