The Columbia Precinct Civil Infrastructure Upgrade project consists of construction of road and servicing works along 5th Avenue, extending from Columbia Street south towards 1100 Glenfair Drive in Kamloops, BC. This is a standalone project that combines the civil offsite works for three residential developments, all of which are scheduled for construction in the 2026-to-2030-time window. The project scope includes, but is not limited to: Road reconstruction and re-alignment along 5th Avenue Parking area upgrades Pavement markings Construction of a 3-meter-wide asphalt multi-use path Construction of 1.5-meter-wide concrete sidewalks at selected locations Construction of concrete curbs and letdowns Construction and removal of temporary drywell for stormwater redirection Soil and sodding for Lawn areas Removal of existing vegetation as required by civil design The creation and execution of a Traffic Management Plan as prescribed in the project-specific supplementary specifications Watermain installation.
