Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Commerce City, Colorado. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

This project serves to construct three (3) of the MT GOAT network sites. Three air monitoring shelters have already been purchased for this project. Two of the shelters are 8' W x 8' L x 8' H and one of the shelters is 15' W x 20' L. Power (100-200 A, 120 V, 50/60 Hz) must be provided to the air monitoring shelters. Each site shall include the installation of a cement pad and walkway built to State approved specifications. Security fencing must be installed at each site, if not already provided by the landowner. The larger site must include parking spaces. The air monitoring shelters will have ladder/stair access to the roof, so the area over the station must be clear of obstructions or power lines. The instrumentation within the air monitoring stations will run continuously. Although the instruments can be monitored remotely, APCD staff will need 24/7 site access in case of instrument issues and for regularly scheduled maintenance visits.
