Description

Site work and renovation of a fitness / recreation center in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade fitness / recreation center.

MBE: 11 % of the Contract Price. WBE: 5 % of the Contract Price. DBE: 4% of the Contract Price. A minimum goal of 18% minority manpower utilization, in terms of total work hours in the aggregate workforce, in each trade or craft, on each project, will be maintained. The goal for female manpower utilization will be maintained at 6.9% The City of New Bedford Purchasing Department, in conjunction with the Facilities and Fleet Department, is soliciting sealed bids for the Quest Center 3rd Floor Partial Gym Renovation Project located at 1213 Purchase Street, New Bedford, MA 02740. The work of this contract will require a DCAMM Prime General Contractor certified in HVAC. This work will also require a DCAMM filed Sub-Bidder certified in Painting. Revised estimated project budget - $680,000.00 Reference Number 0000432040 Partial gym renovation including HVAC and painting work. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond.
