Renovation of a municipal facility in Freehold, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Project is for the removal and replacement of the existing boiler plant, consisting of (8) AERCO Benchmark 1500 MBH condensing boilers. To improve reliability and to eliminate the need for low pressure boiler licensed operators, the existing system will be split into three separate boiler plants serving individual building wings. This modification involves installing new expansion tanks, controls, piping, and twelve (12) total 1000MBH boilers (four per plant) within the existing boiler room footprint. This decentralized setup stabilizes water flow across independent zones and optimizes energy efficiency by precisely matching heating demands per wing. This project intends to remove and replace the existing boiler plant and its respective circulation equipment, along with any associated pumps located within the east and west penthouses, and associated pumps located within the boiler plant. All work is fully identified and described by the plans and specifications prepared by French & Parrello Associates, P.A.
