Construction management services for Phase Two of the Department of Public Works project, including procurement coordination, contractor coordination, construction administration, schedule management, cost control, quality oversight, and project closeout for municipal facility and site infrastructure improvements. The project is expected to proceed using a design -bid- build delivery method . Under this approach, the City or its design professional will complete the design documents, the project will be competitively bid by the Construction Manager to trade contractors or a general contractor as determined by the City, and construction will proceed in accordance with the approved contract documents. The construction manager will act as the City's representative and advisor and will not replace the design professional , contractor, or City purchasing authority. The construction cost for the work in this phase is anticipated to be in the range of $6 million to $8 million for budgetary purposes.
