Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Enfield, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
**As of August 28, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Installation of approximately 20,000+ linear feet of water main of various sizes (2 inch to 8 inch), horizontal directional drilling, steel casing installation via bore and jack, installation of 45 fire hydrant assemblies, 213 water services, and two hydrant-mounted auto flushing stations. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required. Install approx.. 511 linear feet of 8" SDR9 HDPE water main (horizontal directional drill), 220 linear feet of 24" steel casing (bore & jack), 305 linear feet of 18" steel casing (bore & jack), 287 linear feet of 12" water main, 2,823 linear feet of 10" water main, 681 linear feet of 8" water main, 20,482 linear feet of 6" water main, 40 linear feet of 2" water main, 45 fire hydrant assemblies, 213 water services, two hydrant-mounted auto flushing stations, and all necessary appurtenances as shown in the bid documents. State of NC MBE/WBE participation goal: 10% (combined) Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request to the ENGINEER, to reach him at least ten (10) days prior to the date for receipt of bids
