Provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other resources necessary for the safe, clean, efficient, and continuous operation and maintenance of the Industrial Wastewater Pre-Treatment Plant at the facility. Services shall be performed twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, including holidays and designated shutdown periods, and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes, ordinances, environmental requirements, health and safety standards, pretreatment regulations, and facility policies and procedures. Operations and maintenance services include management of wastewater generated from currency production processes, including intaglio printing press roller cleaning and electroplating plate-making activities. The plant treats wastewater through coagulation and flocculation processes utilizing calcium chloride to remove waste ink, centrifugation of non-hazardous solid precipitates for disposal, pH adjustment of treated effluent, and discharge to the sanitary sewer system. The contractor shall operate and maintain all associated treatment equipment and systems, including equalization and treatment tanks, sulfuric acid storage systems, chemical feed systems, wastewater treatment processes, sludge handling operations, and wiping solution preparation systems, while ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant plant performance.
