Description

Site work for a municipal facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

Site work construction including excavation, grading, and drainage improvements. If Bidder requires additional information or is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the Contract documents, Bidder may submit a written request for such information or clarification. Bidder must submit questions via email by 12:00pm EDT on August 19, 2026. 1. Email questions to Owner (bids@oakridgetn.gov) and CC Engineer (bids@pdengineers.com). DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. The Work generally consists of furnishing all labor, tools, and necessary materials for the complete site preparation of the proposed facility including, but not limited to, the following: 1. Establish benchmark and coordinate system for all Work. 2. Demolition of existing structures, septic tank and driveways. 3. Clearing and grubbing of site. 4. Furnish and install temporary erosion and sediment controls. 5. Furnish and install permanent rock filter dams. 6. Furnish and install temporary signage during construction of driveway entrance. 7. Furnish and install substation security fencing and gates. 8. Construction of: a. Substation pad; and b. Driveways for access to the site; and C. Ditches for drainage off substation site 9. Paving of driveways. 10. Dense Grade Aggregate (Crusher Run) surfacing of substation pad
