The daycare yard located adjacent to the Jasper Activity Centre and Jasper Fitness and Aquatic Centre experiences drainage deficiencies that require correction. The Municipality retained McElhanney to design a drainage and civil works solution for the yard, including new storm sewer infrastructure, catch basins, manholes, a bioswale, and associated site restoration. The Municipality is seeking a qualified contractor to complete all civil, storm drainage, and landscaping works described in the IFT Drawings for the Daycare Yard Drainage project. The Successful Proponent will be responsible for the full scope of construction, excluding the out-ofscope items described below. The Service Provider will complete the following work, as further detailed in the IFT Drawings and Appendix B - Price Schedule: Mobilization, demobilization, and traffic/site accommodation Removal and disposal of existing concrete sidewalk, asphalt structure, and common excavation/waste as required Concrete surfacing and monolithic sidewalk c/w curb and gutter Supply and installation of new storm drain (300 mm PVC DR35), storm manholes, catch basins, frames and grates/covers, and connections to the existing storm system CCTV sewer inspection at construction completion and at the end of the warranty period Storm drainage works serving the adjacent sport courts area, including the bioswale, beehive drains, grass swale, and connecting catch basin/manhole infrastructure Supply and installation of granular base course, subgrade preparation, and a raised-tread gravel trail Materials Testing as required in Specification 01 45 00 and under various sections of the Specifications.
