Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in University Place, Washington. Design plans call for the addition of a educational facility.
Project work includes: Demolish CHS 100, 200, 300 and 400E buildings Connect the CHS 400W and 500 buildings to create a more secure “main building” Build new music classrooms and a Performing Arts Center for music and theater Add modern Career and Technical Education (CTE) classroom spaces Add improved classrooms for Special Education Programs Improve the HVAC system at building 400W Improve access and parking As of July 30, 2026, this project is in the design phase. An architect has been selected for the project. Information regarding the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to summer of 2028.
