Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Roof replacement at the Ushers Ferry Visitor Center. Question Deadline 08/05/2026 at 3:00 PM CT Please send questions via email to buylocal@cedar-rapids.org 2.1 Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all existing wood shakes down to the wood roof deck. 2.2 Contractor shall inspect the existing wood structure and roof sheathing. 2.3 Contractor shall replace any damaged or unsuitable materials after consultation with the Owner. 2.4 Contractor shall furnish and install the following: a. A full layer of ice and water shield over the entire roof surface b. New class 4 asphalt shingle roof covering over the entire roof surface C. New gutters and downspouts d. New trims and flashings as required e. Alternate 1. Contractor may provide separate pricing to provide and install two power vents 2.5 Contractor shall flash all existing roof penetrations. 2.6 Contractor shall provide all lifts, scaffolding, etc. to perform this Scope of Work. 2.7 Contractor shall provide all applicable material warranties upon completion. 2.8 Contractor shall pass on any rebates to the City. 2.9 Contractor shall perform proper cleanup of all grounds around the visitor center to ensure safety and maintain a presentable appearance for public interaction.
