Site work and renovation of a library in Fonthill, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade library; and for site work for a library.

The Town of Pelham is requesting the contracting services of a qualified general contractor for the purpose of the Fonthill Library Branch Renovation - Phase 1 located at 43 Pelham Town Square. All works are to include all necessary material and labour to complete each item, unless specified otherwise. The Fonthill Library is an existing one storey building with basement and the renovation work will occur on a portion of the ground floor only. The renovation includes upgrades to the library entrance with replacement of main entrance door assemblies with new automatic sliding door assemblies, provision for new exterior windows, demolition of existing washrooms with provision for new single-use washrooms, including for one new universal washroom and renovation to the existing program room and entry foyer, with provision of two new folding wall assemblies. The work includes architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical upgrades. The start date for the construction will be September 8, 2026 and the date for substantial completion of this project is March 19, 2027, with a Total Construction Completion date of April 2, 2027. The project is to be completed prior to March 19, 2027. All questions must be received at least six (6) business days prior to the Request closing date.
