Emery County is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to complete a remodel project at the Huntington Branch Library facility. The project includes remodeling an existing public restroom to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable building codes, installation of insulation between the facility ceiling and roof structure to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort, construction and installation of a new circulation desk, and repair, patching, finishing, and painting of interior walls and related surfaces. The project will improve accessibility, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort by bringing the building up to modern standards. Qualified contractors with demonstrated experience in public restroom renovation, ADA accessibility compliance, carpentry, and energy-efficiency are invited to submit proposals. Additionally, qualified contracts shall carry liability insurance, workers compensation insurance, and are state licensed professional contractors.
