Remodeling of a municipal facility in Clarksville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
Remodel of the courtroom including installing plywood flooring over existing floor, relocation of barriers, and reconstruction of the jury box. Install 1/2 " CD plywood over existing floor and securely fasten. Existing carpet can not be removed due to asbestos flooring. New carpet tiles will be purchased and installed on separate bid package. New chairs will be purchased and pews replaced on separate bid package. Extend existing jury bench as necessary to accommodate revised courtroom layout. Remove and reinstall separation barrier between main jury box and alternate jury seating area. o Remove existing barrier between audience and front and reinstall 18" back. Furnish and install swing door on relocated wall. All work must be completed promptly within the allotted schedule due to court schedule. All work must be done outside of regular operating hours of the Johnson County Courthouse due to noise. All work must be done with the consideration of maintaining the historical integrity of the courtroom. o Any questions are to be directed to either Rusty Hardgrave (Johnson County Judge-Elect) or the Johnson County Judges Office. Award is subject to final approval.
