The City of Ketchikan is requesting sealed bids for the Martin Street Stairs Reconstruction, Contract No. 26-32 consisting of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and other facilities necessary to complete the Work set forth in the Contract Drawings and Specifications, and terms of the Contract successfully. The Work that is presented in the Bid Proposal for this Contract generally consists of removal of the existing timber staircase and reconstruction of a new timber staircase at Martin Street. The Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition and disposal of existing materials, site preparation, excavation as required, furnishing and installing new structural timber components, hardware, and related appurtenances, and performing all incidental work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the Contract Drawings, Specifications, and applicable standards. Engineers Estimate: $300,000 - $400,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
