Site work for a water / sewer project in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
BHI 268 Replace Sewer Force Main on Kane Course from Ejector Station B to MH # 80 and FM from Ejector station E to MH # 80 The force mains from Ejector Station A and Ejector Station E to SMH # 80 are both cast iron pipes. Because of heavy traffic on Kane Concourse, the construction methodology will be pipe bursting. The mobilization costs for pipe bursting are high, and therefore it is costeffective to replace both sections of old force main at the same time. The project is included in the City's 2025-26 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of July 30, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
