Re-graveling and roadway maintenance of up to 85.75 miles of existing gravel Minuteman Missile Access Roads consisting entirely of unawarded roads from CO OMAD 300(71). The work supports access routes utilized by the United States Air Force and includes roadway reconditioning and placement of four inches of aggregate surface course on existing aggregate surface roads. All work will remain within the existing roadway bench. The proposed roadway section consists of reconditioning the existing gravel roadway and adding a 4-inch aggregate surface course with a maximum width of 24 feet and a 4% crown, or as approved by the Contracting Officer. The contractor will taper the aggregate surface at applicable locations. The project also includes replacement of up to 73 culverts. Construction activities involve roadway reconditioning, re-graveling, culvert replacement, construction phasing, temporary traffic control, and timely completion of the work. The project will be delivered using the Fixed-Price Variable Scope (FPVS) contracting method, with a prioritized schedule of roadway improvements and variable quantities of roadway and culvert work. Principal work items include survey and staking for drainage structures, contractor quality control, pipe culvert installation and replacement, and aggregate surface course placement. Construction is anticipated to occur between April 2027 and September 2027. The estimated construction value is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Location: Various counties in Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming, including northeastern Colorado, southeastern Nebraska, and southwestern Wyoming.
