Site work for a transportation facility in Natchez, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
All work will be performed between Brookhaven and Natchez Mississippi. Remove and replace approximately 45700 cross ties and apply 9200 tons of ballast, apply 3000 90lb anchors and surface 66.2 miles of track on the main track and Industrial Lead . Install 4292 feet of new 115lb curve rail and renew 5 public highway grade crossings. Open dig and replace 3 CMP culverts with new RCP. Natchez Railway Inc. will supply culverts. Clear trees, brush , and vegetation to improve site distance at 87 public and private grade crossings on the main line between Brookhaven and Natchez. Question Deadline 08/25/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to ENGINEER. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda, e-mailed, or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than three (3) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
