Site work for a road / highway in Superior, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of Superior requests Bids for: Installation of longitudinal pavement markings such as 4" dotted white, 4" double yellow, and 4" single white lines over existing pavement markings. Installation of pavement symbols, such as arrows, crosswalk bars , "YIELD" markings, and stop bars over existing pavement symbols. Use of high-durability traffic marking materials, such as thermoplastic, epoxy, or preformed tape, unless otherwise specified. New thermoplastic symbols/legends may be applied over existing well-adhered thermoplastic markings provided the old markings are thoroughly cleaned, dry, and free of loose material. The contractor shall lightly grind or scarify existing symbols that retain a heavy profile or substantial bead retention to ensure proper bonding and to prevent excessive buildup thickness Compliance with all federal, state, and local standards, including the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the Town of Superior Standards & Specifications. Coordination with the Town for work zone safety, traffic control, and scheduling to minimize traffic disruptions. Providing reflective materials and ensuring all markings meet required retroreflectivity standards.
