Reference number : 20162526 Electronic tender submission accepted : No Landscaping maintenance for Loto-Quebec site Subject: Invitation to a site visit for the landscaping maintenance in view of a future call for tenders A call for tenders is scheduled to be issued at the end of 2026. For information purposes, the envisaged duration of the potential contract is two (2) seasons, namely 2027 and 2028. Requests for clarification If a firm wishes to obtain clarification on any aspect of the call for interest, it must send its questions by email to the following address: sandra.chong@loto-quebec.com. If necessary, an addendum could be sent, which would include clarifications or amendments to the call for interest. Site of the casino and the Hilton du Lac-Leamy hotel The contractor will be responsible for performing landscaping services on the outdoor site, including but not limited to: The work of cutting the edges of planting beds, spading and maintaining mulch, hoeing; Work on flower beds and planters, including the supply of planters; Head pinching and removal of dead heads, seedling purification, staking; Maintenance work on trees and planting beds; Lawn maintenance work: lawn replacement, topdressing and seed application, soil analysis, fertilization, weed control, lawn mowing, lawn rolling, watering, dethatching, aeration, liming; Maintenance, operation and repair work on the entire site's irrigation system, starting up in the spring, monitoring the system, maintenance, programming of watering areas, winterization in autumn; Pruning and lowering of trees, shrubs, hedges, vines; The work of fertilization and control of insects, diseases and weeds of all kinds on the landscape; Cleaning, disposal of leaves, waste and debris on landscaped surfaces and floral arrangements; Installation, dismantling, winter protection work, supports, stakes and shrouds; Supervision of animal cages; Cleaning the CPE sandbox (about 300 m2); Cleaning after all work: all surfaces must be free of debris, residues or anything else. Mont-Tremblant Casino website The contractor will be responsible for providing landscaping services to the exterior site, including: Lawn maintenance, topdressing and seed application, soil analysis, stubble cultivation, aeration, liming, mowing, rolling, watering; Maintenance work, operation of the entire site's irrigation system, start-up in spring, system monitoring, maintenance, programming of watering areas, winterization in autumn; Cleaning, removal of leaves, branches, waste and debris from landscaped areas and floral arrangements; Cutting the edges of planting beds, digging and hoeing; Head pinching and removal of dead heads, seedling purification; Maintenance work on trees and planting beds; The work of fertilization and control of insects, diseases and weeds of all kinds on the landscape; The work of pruning conifers, hedges and shrubs. The SCQ will also schedule work on request via work orders. The contractor will be responsible for performing landscaping services, upon request, of the outdoor site, and without limiting itself thereto: Maintaining and adding mulch; Work on flower beds and planters, including the supply of planters; Lawn replacement work; Repair work on the entire site's irrigation system; Pruning and lowering of trees; Installation and dismantling work for winter protection, supports, mountings and shrouds; Watering on request with tanker truck; Repair of landscaping (e.g., smooth pavement, step, edge, water runoff, pergolas, etc.); The provision of perennials and native, drought-resistant plants should be prioritized; The selection of plants that are particularly attractive to pollinators (such as bees) could be promoted to help ensure species proliferation and ecosystem health. The aim is to clear the lawns of plant and other debris accumulated during the winter (paper, gravel, remains of dead plants, etc.) and to scrape. Mowing and fertilizing lawns Soil analysis Ventilation Annual terreautage Dethatching Seeding Cultivated turf (peat) Mowing Fertilizers Weeds Clearing of the lagoon Landscaping maintenance specifications The main tasks will be as follows: Winter protection (installation and removal); Pruning of trees, shrubs and hedges; Planting annuals and perennials in flower beds and planters; Replacement of dead shrubs and perennials; Adding, moving, and dividing plants; Weeding, hoeing and fertilizing of flower beds, planters and hedges and maintenance of the perimeter of trees; Protection against insects and diseases; Watering; Collection of papers and waste; Collection of leaves in the fall; Installation, cleaning and maintenance of annual plants as well as removal of plants and protection of structures for the winter; Supervision of annual crops. Site of the Salon de jeux de Trois-Rivieres Inspection of external structures In the early spring, the contractor must inspect all exterior structures with a Loto-Quebec representative. During this inspection, he must note all the damage observed on all elements forming part of the landscaping and make his recommendations; The contractor must provide a complete report to Loto-Quebec on landscaping and make its recommendations; The contractor must provide and implement the winterization plan at the end of the summer season in order to prepare for the coming winter. General landscaping maintenance Landscaping maintenance work includes, but is not limited to: Spring cleaning work; Daily cleaning: Use a rake, sweeper, manual broom or any other tool required to perform the cleaning. The use of a blower on site should only be used as a last resort. Lawn mowing, removal and disposal of debris beforehand; Maintenance and pruning of trees, shrubs and planting beds; Maintenance of potted plants; Planting of different species; Transplantation of flowers and shrubs; Mulch maintenance; Weed control of all kinds: Fertilization; Watering as needed; Aeration (core drilling); Disease control through prevention; Preparing the outside for winter.
