Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Taft, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Construction of rural water transmission pipelines including directional boring, road and river crossings, valves, hydrants, site restoration, signage, seeding, and gravel. The Work is comprised of one (1 ) Contract with one (1 ) Base Bid and three (3) Bid Alternates. Alternate 1 includes 'A' and 'B' options. Alternates 2 and 3 include 'A', 'B', and 'C' options. Contract No. 1 will award Base Bid 1 with or without either Alternates 1A or 1B as supplemental to Base Bid 1. The award of either Alternate 2 or Alternate 3 in any form would replace the work included within Base Bid 1 in its entirety. Alternates 2 or 3 , if awarded, will award either the 'A' option only, the 'A' and 'B' options, or the 'A' and 'C' options dependent on which alternate(s) is accepted for award. Alternates 2 and 3 with 'B' or 'C' designation will not be awarded without award of the corresponding 'A' option. The Work is generally described as follow Contract No. 1 : Pipeline Construction: Base Bid No. 1 - 16-inch DR 17 Poly Transmission Pipeline Construction: Construction of rural water pipelines consisting of furnishing and installing the following approximate quantities: 100 feet of 8-inch DR 13.5 IPS Poly pipeline, 17,800 feet of 16-inch DR 17 DIPS Poly pipeline, 1,250 feet of 16-inch DR 17 DIPS Poly directional bores , One (1 ) 16- inch Red River Crossing bore, One (1 ) 16- inch steel cased state highway crossing bore, Twelve (12) 16-inch poly 90-degree bends, One (1) 8-inch Poly cap, One ( 1 ) 16-inch by 8-inch Poly reducer, Two (2) gate valves ranging in size from 8-inch to 16-inch, Three (3) 2-inch flush/air blow-off hydrant valves, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Preparation and Submittal, and all associated fittings and appurtenances, restoration, flushing and testing, signage, seeding, and gravel. Alternate No. 1A 16-inch PVC Transmission Pipeline Construction: Construction of rural water pipelines consisting of furnishing and installing the following approximate quantities: 17,800 feet of 16-inch C900 DR 25 PVC pipeline in lieu of 16-inch DR 17 DIPS Poly pipeline included as Work within Base Bid 1 : 16-inch DR 17 Poly Transmission Pipeline Construction. Alternate No. 1B - 16-inch DR 13.5 Poly Transmission Pipeline Construction: Construction of rural water pipelines consisting of furnishing and installing the following approximate quantities: 17,800 feet of 16-inch DR 13.5 DIPS Poly pipeline in lieu of 16-inch DR 17 DIPS Poly pipeline included as Work within Base Bid 1 : 16- inch DR 17 Poly Transmission Pipeline Construction. Set-asides: 2% MBE, 3% WBE. Membership registration, downloading, and working with this digital project information. Copies of the Bidding Documents may also be seen and examined at the office of the Engineer, Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, LLC, 4050 Garden View Dr. , Grand Forks, ND 58201. The Bidding Documents are available in the form of printed plans and specifications and/or PDF flash drives from Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, LLC. The costs are $40.00 for flash drives and $ 300.00 for printed documents, for each set of Documents obtained. Payment for Bidding Documents is NON -REFUNDABLE. Bidding Documents may also be examined at Builders' exchanges in Grand Forks, Bismarck, Minot, and Fargo, ND, in Rapid City, SD, and in Minneapolis, MN All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
