Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Bend, Oregon. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The work contemplated consists of, but is not limited to the following major items as further defined in the Proposal Documents: Furnishing, welding, installation and testing of approximately 12,015 LF of 42-IN to 10 -IN Solid-Wall Pipe, welded side-saddle turnouts and delivery assemblies ranging from 1 -IN to 16-IN in diameter, Associated mobilization, selective demolition, surveying, tree removal, trenching, earthwork, backfill, compaction, surface restoration, other restoration, Coordination of utility locate, utility relocations as necessary, coordination with Owner and Owner's Engineer, and furnishing and installing all other associated meter assemblies, stub turnouts, air and vacuum valve assemblies, valves and valve cans , and appurtenances necessary to provide a complete project, ready for irrigation delivery. The contract time will be limited to a Substantial Completion time schedule commencing on September 5, 2026 and ending on March 31 , 2027. Bonds: 10% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. The Work includes but is not necessarily limited to; requisite permit acquisition , irrigation pipeline construction including all general requirements, submittals, temporary facilities and controls, selective demolition, construction, quality control inspection and testing, field testing of installed pipeline elements, commissioning of installed pipeline and ancillary elements, preparation of an O&M Manual, and provision of Record Data and Record Drawings. a.Selective demolition includes, but is not necessarily limited to; existing asphaltic concrete roadway, aggregate access ways, culverts, fence, gates and other above ground and underground improvements indicated Removal and Replacement on the Drawings or otherwise removed by the Contractor as required to construct the Work. Furnish and install Solid Wall HDPE pipe on the line and grade shown on the Drawings. 1All work shall be conducted within the Project Construction Limits / Construction Zone defined as; 50 foot maximum width applicable to all work areas over the full length of the pipeline project where pipe 12-IN diameter and larger is shown on the Drawings. 35 foot maximum width applicable to all work areas over the full length of the pipeline project where pipe less than 12-IN diameter is shown on the Drawings. Contractor shall strictly avoid any disturbance of archeological sensitive areas identified by the Owner. a) No known archeological sensitive areas have been identified on the TID Group 6B Piping Project alignment. Provision all labor, equipment, and material as required to effect construction of the Group 6B Piping Project; aRegulatory-compliant selective demolition, removal , and disposal of existing above-ground and underground improvements as shown on the Drawings or otherwise required to construct the Work. Erection and maintenance during the course of construction all temporary silt fence, straw wattle, and straw bale fence erosion and sediment controls as shown on the Drawings or otherwise required by regulatory authorities having jurisdiction. Placement of construction entrance aggregate, installation of shoring systems, and installation and operation of temporary dewatering facilities as shown on the Drawings or otherwise required by the Contract Documents. Furnishing and deployment of temporary facilities including traffic controldevices and flagging as required by the Contract Documents, authorities having jurisdiction, and permit conditions. Providing a public monument survey of the full length of the Project Construction Limit. Setting of Project Construction Limit staking, construction staking, and layout of the work as required by the Contract Documents, including protection-inplace during the course of Contractors activities, all construction staking and existing public monuments as shown on the Drawings or otherwise identified by the Engineer. Providing as-constructed survey of the completed pipeline and ancillary elements as the work is completed. i . Record as-constructed survey data including top of pipe elevation and location of pipe joints, fittings, valves, turnouts, flow meters, air release and vacuum relief valve assemblies, and energy dissipation facilities constructed as part of the Work Unclassified excavation to the limits shown on the Drawings, placement of pipe bedding material , pipe zone material , and trench backfill material in accordance with the Contract Documents. Procurement, delivery, storage, protection, staging, and installation of irrigation pipe systems including all pipe and pipe welding. All irrigation pipe systems as shown the Drawings and specified by the Contract documents are to be installed so as to produce a complete and water tight piping system at test pressure. Procurement, delivery, storage, protection, staging, and installation of all irrigation pipe system specials including all valves, fittings, special fittings, and hardware as shown on the Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents so as to produce a complete and water tight piping system at test pressure. Procurement, delivery, storage, protection, staging, and assembly of prefabricated structures as shown on the Drawings. Erection of formwork, setting of reinforcing steel , setting of anchor bolts, and placement of structural concrete for foundation slabs, slabs at grade, pipe encasements, thrust blocks, and pipe supports as shown on the Drawings. Restoration of existing above-ground and underground improvements disturbed, damaged, or removed by Contractor in performance of the work. Placement of surfacing aggregates where shown and at the thicknesses shown on the Drawings. Placement of base aggregate, MHMAC where shown on the Drawings and otherwise disturbed, damaged, or removed by the Contractor during the course of the work. Placement of topsoil and restoration seed mix application as required by the Contract Documents in areas disturbed by the Contractor during the course of the work that are not otherwise restored with MHMAC or surfacing aggregates. Stockpiling, at a location identified by the Owner, all clean surplus excavation spoils generated as a result of the Contractors construction of the Work. Testing of completed irrigation pipe systems, irrigation pipe system start-up, training of Owners personnel, and supply of spare parts as shown the Drawings and specified by the Contract documents.
