Site work and paving for a municipal facility in Palmer, Alaska. Completed plans call civil work for a municipal facility.

Parking lot paving at the new Gateway Visitor Center facility. The Gateway Visitor Center is an approximately 9,400-square-foot facility located on a scenic 40-acre site overlooking the Matanuska and Knik Valleys and the Chugach Mountains. The site includes significant natural and cultural features, including a salmon-spawning tributary. Located near the interchange of the Parks and Glenn Highways, the facility is easily accessible to travelers and is adjacent to the Matanuska Lake State Recreation Area and the Matanuska Greenbelt. This project will pave the existing gravel parking area on the northwest side of the facility. The improvements will provide a more durable parking surface, improve accessibility and drainage, and reduce ongoing maintenance needs.
