The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This project consists of demolition of existing airport-owned millwork and manufacturing/fabricating and installing airport owned ticketing counters and one (1) add alternate pony wall on the second floor. The scope of work is a replacement of the existing common-use airline ticket counters (Millwork) located on the ticketing level in the Airport Terminal. No square footage will be added to the building, and no alterations will affect previously established egress/exiting requirements. Lower-level terminal scope of work is limited to the electrical rooms for modifications to the ticket counter connections. The contractor shall be responsible for all permitting, adherence to security badging requirements, and overall project coordination with the engineer and airport throughout the construction duration. Counter Design Design drawings and specifications for the counters have been provided by the Airport and are a part of the Solicitation Documents. Modifications to counters may be made with the approval of the Airport Project Manager. Contractor shall provide shop drawings of the counters to the Airport for approval prior to building or manufacturing. Installation Installation of the counters shall be performed in the locations outlined in the Solicitation Documents. Contractor shall field verify all dimensions prior to manufacture and installation of counters and shall notify the Airport Project Manager promptly in writing of any discrepancies with the Contract Documents. Any Contractor proposed adjustments to counter locations, dimensions or installation orientations shall be approved by the Airport Project Manager in writing prior to installation. All common use airline counters shall be removed and disposed of by Contractor in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Contractor shall include all costs associated with the installation of all electrical and data infrastructure/distribution to the counter locations on the 2nd floor for the airport ticketing counters. Any and all existing second floor utility penetrations that are abandoned (devoid of power or data conveyance) as the result of Contractor reconfiguration shall be filled to match existing floor slab and Contractor shall install flooring to match surrounding floor. Proper floor surveys and scans shall be conducted by Contractor prior to the coring of new floor penetrations. All new core penetrations and existing core abandonments must be approved by the Airport prior to performance. Contractor personnel may require Airport badging to work in the secured area (likely required during coring performance) and Contractor shall include all associated costs in its bid. The contractor shall anticipate and include cost for counter installations to occur during overnight hours where requested by Owner, approximately 10pm to 4am (subject to change), and shall consider and include cost for counter installations over multiple nights if necessary.
