Sealed bids shall be addressed to the Appoquinimink School District, ATTN: Andy Walton, Supervisor, Facilities & Maintenance, 118 South Sixth Street, Odessa, DE 19730. The outer envelope should clearly indicate: "ASD BRICK MILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ROOF RECOVER SEALED BID - DO NOT OPEN." The scope of the project consists of a full EPDM roof recover over the existing modified Asphalt Bitumen roof. A total of +/- 67,422 s.f. The roof recover assembly will be of a new 115-mil FleeceBack EPDM directly adhered over to the existing modified BUR roof with a two component, extrusion or spray applied, low-rise adhesive as described in the attached new work sheets. All existing roof edge metals will remain in place unless required to be removed / reinstalled to perform new roof recover work. All existing mechanical / electrical roof top devices, units, etc. to remain in their entirety and only to be modified / removed & reinstalled as required to perform new roof work. The one project alternate is to reinstall and re certify the existing building wide lightning protection system in its original location.
