Selective demolition and removal of existing vinyl wall covering, and preparation of wall surfaces to receive a new Level 5 gypsum board finish. 2. Removal of existing rubber base where indicated and gypsum board repair. 234 3. 4. Painting of prepared wall surfaces and of doors, frames, and trim scheduled for paint. Limited room modifications, new and modified plastic-laminate casework, and a new barn door. 5. Modernization of the controls of the two (2) existing hydraulic passenger elevators (one at City Hall and one at the Library), performed by the General Contractor's elevator subcontractor. 6. Related patching, sealants, salvage and re-installation of accessories, and finishes as indicated. B. Type of Contract: The Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Estimate 470,000 Selective demolition and removal of existing vinyl wall covering, wall surface preparation, interior painting of walls and trim, limited room modifications, new and modified plastic-laminate casework, and modernization of controls for two hydraulic passenger elevators.
