The project includes architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and site engineering services necessary to prepare complete construction documents suitable for public bidding and construction. The selected consultant shall also provide permitting assistance, engineering cost estimates, bidding support, construction administration, and record drawings. The work includes the design of: A new approximately 3,000-square-foot, two-story Administration Building, including all associated site development, parking, utility infrastructure, water well, septic system, access improvements, and other supporting facilities. Renovation/conversion of the existing HHW Building into a public Reuse Store and Vehicle Maintenance Facility, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural modifications necessary to support its new functions. The selected consultant shall provide all professional services necessary to deliver a complete, code-compliant, and fully coordinated design in accordance with current State of Alaska regulations, applicable building codes, and the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Facility Design Criteria Manual (FDCM), except where alternate systems are determined to be more appropriate for the specialized operational requirements of a solid waste facility.
