The purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit competitive sealed bids from qualified, licensed general contractors to The purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit competitive sealed bids from qualified, licensed general contractors to renovate the existing Solid Waste Building to improve employee support facilities and optimize the use of the existing interior space. The project consists of the construction of a new women's locker room, renovation of the existing men's locker room, and renovation of the remaining break room area. The scope of work includes all necessary architectural , structural, mechanical , electrical , plumbing, and life safety modifications required to support the renovated spaces, including associated finishes, fixtures, equipment, and code-compliant improvements. All work shall be completed within the existing building footprint unless otherwise identified during design development. The resulting contract is expected to provide a fully renovated , code-compliant facility that enhances employee amenities, improves the functionality of the existing interior spaces, and supports the operational needs of the Solid Waste Department.
