Description of Work. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of rehabilitation of existing storm drain facilities at various locations within the Town of Danville, including approximately 1,100 linear feet of 48-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) storm drain located along San Ramon Valley Boulevard and approximately 1,300 linear feet of 30-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) storm drain located along Hill Meadow Place. Work includes, but is not limited to, pre- and postconstruction CCTV inspection, cleaning and preparation of existing storm drain pipes , trenchless pipe rehabilitation using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, HDPE slip lining, spiral wound PVC pipe lining, or other Engineer-approved rehabilitation methods, annular space grouting, void filling and stabilization, bypass pumping or flow diversion as required, traffic control , protection of existing facilities, testing, quality control , restoration of disturbed areas, and all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. The Contractor may utilize one rehabilitation method or a combination of rehabilitation methods, subject to review and approval by the Engineer. The selected rehabilitation method shall provide a structurally sound, corrosion- resistant, and watertight rehabilitation system designed to restore the serviceability of the existing storm drain facilities.
