The City of Plymouth is soliciting proposals from qualified professional service providers for Curbside Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Services. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive or not to waive any formalities in the proposals received, and to accept any proposal which the City deems most favorable to the interest of the City. The City is seeking proposals for curbside garbage and recycling collection and miscellaneous dumpsters for City owned locations. 3.1 Curbside Garbage Collection 3.1.1 Automatic garbage collection using Contractor provided carts (32-gallon, 64-gallon, or 96-gallon carts). All residential units will be delivered can in the "like" format that they currently have. 3.1.2 Contractor will deliver bins to all residential units. 3.1.3 Weekly garbage collection. 3.1.4 The City will allow the City to be divided into two (2) different days if needed. If this method is preferred, a route map shall be submitted for approval by the City within 30-days of contract award. 3.2 Curbside Recycling Collection 3.2.1 Automatic recycling collection using Contractor provided carts (32-gallon, 64-gallon, or 96-gallon carts). All residential units will be delivered can in the "like" format that they currently have. 3.2.2 Contractor will deliver bins to all residential units. 3.2.3 Base Bid: Weekly recycling collection. Alternate Bid: Every other week recycling collection. 3.2.4 The City will allow the City to be divided into two (2) different days if needed. If this method is preferred, a route map shall be submitted for approval by the City within 30-days of contract award. 3.3 Quit Qui Oc Manor 3.3.1 This complex is owned by Plymouth Housing Authority and located at 1200 Street. This collection shall be shown separate line item on the invoice. Nine (9) 96-gallon garbage containers and seven (7) 96-gallon recycling containers. 3.4 Municipal Buildings and Parks 3.4.1 Contractor to provide garbage collection services including dumpsters at the below City owned locations. 3.4.2 The cost of the containers and rental and refuse disposal at the below locations shall be considered incidental in the price per residential unit.
