Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Niagara Falls, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.

Capital improvement project for the Wastewater Treatment Plant involving various facility improvements. The site of the Work is the Niagara Falls Water Board Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 1201 Buffalo Ave. Niagara Falls, NY 14304. The work consists of the following within the OWNER's existing wastewater treatment plant. Replace pressure gauge and install flow meters on GRIT piping. Clean and inspection of Carbon Bed Effluent channels and wet Wells. Replacement of mud valves and clean the carbon bed drains. Installation of a new Process Water Booster Pump system including new piping. Bonds: Certified Check required, 5% Bid Bond. 1. Under this contract, the Work consists of the following tasks at Niagara Falls Water Board Wastewater Treatment Plant: A. Grit Pump Flow Meters (WWTP -3.2) 1. Install 9 new flow meters on sludge piping 2. Modify grit piping 3. Replace 17 pressure gauges and isolation rings B. Carbon Bed Effluent Cleaning and Inspection (WWTP-6.2) 1. Isolate, clean and inspect the following locations: a. Carbon Bed Effluent Channel i. 2-feet by 4-feet (CCTV) ii. 10.66-feet by 2-feet (CCTV) iii. 6-feet by 9-feet by 16-feet high b. Original Wet Well i. 10.83-feet by 28-feet by 16-feet high ii. 60-inch diameter pipe c. Oder Control Wet Well i. 20-feet by 29-feet by 18.5-feet high C. Carbon Filter Mud Valve Replacement (WWTP-6.3) 1. Isolate and replace 28 gate valves. 2. Remove eight condensate drains and plug holes in eight drain elbows. 3. Clean all Carbon Bed Filter drain piping to Pipe Gallery. D. Process Water Piping Replacement (WWTP- 11.6) 1. Install three process water booster pumps with VFDs. 2. Connect booster pumps to the following systems: a. Belt Filter Presses b. Primary Polymer Makeup c. Polymer Motive Water d. Polymer Pump Flush Water e. Thickened Sludge Pump Building f. Pump Gallery Seal Water Question Deadline 08/28/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda electronically mailed to all parties recorded by Engineer as having purchased or received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Completion- 365 days MWBE participation goals for this contract are 20%.
