Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Vermilion Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Only pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this PROJECT. The Erie County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. By order of the Board of County Commissioners of Erie County, Ohio. (SBE Goal : 10%) The bid guaranty may be of two forms: A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form . ). Contractor will provide a performance and payment bond in an amount at least equal to 100 percent of contract price upon signing of contract. ODOT shall be named an obligee on any bond . A certified check, cashier's check or a letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 10% of the bid drawn in favor of the Erie County Commissioners. If the Contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required , which is one hundred per cent ( 100%) payment and performance bond . Plans may be ordered by submitting an email request to : cgriggs@eriecounty.oh.gov ; dbellamy@eriecounty.oh.gov .
