Installation of RTU Scroll Compressor unit. Question Acceptance Deadline 08/12/2026 12:00 AM EDT Every request for such interpretation should be made in writing, addressed to Meilisa Arlt, Purchasing Agent, City School District of New Rochelle, New York 10801, not later than five (5) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. SCOPE OF WORK: It is the intent of this bid to secure all labor, materials, appliances and services of every kind necessary for the proper execution of the work. The work to be performed , as described herein, includes replacement and installation of the RTU (ROOF TOP UNIT) scroll compressor in Isaac E. Young Middle School. All work must be conducted in accordance with manufacturer's manual, but not limited to LO/TO all power sources to the unit power & disconnect electrical from the compressor's -With recovery machine, evacuate all refrigerant from the system -Cut suction and discharge lines & remove existing failed compressor's -Detach crank case heaters -Remove existing filter driers and replace with new filter driers -Install new compressors, crankcase heaters, and contactors -Pressurize system with nitrogen and leak check all work done-Evacuate system -Charge unit with refrigerant to factory spec-Test operation
