Site work and renovation of a civil project in Leesburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The Intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain the services of a qualified General Contractor to construct the Rehabilitation of Storm Water Management Detention Facility Structures BC26, BC38 and BC124 (the "Project"). The facilities are located at separate locations throughout Loudoun County. The structures generally consist of Corrugated Metal Pipes (CMP) with concrete control structures and manholes with ladders for entering and exiting the facilities. The CMP is galvanized steel and is formed by helical corrugations with a continuous locked seam. Field construction joints consist of external coupling bands between pipe segments and are welded at pipe intersections. Spacing of the construction joints varies as stated below: Facility BC26 consists of one 72-inch diameter CMP totaling approximately 85 linear feet. Facility BC38 consists of one 60-inch diameter CMP totaling approximately 142 linear feet. Facility BC124 consists of two 66-inch diameter CMPs totaling approximately 205 linear feet.
