Involves providing all equipment , labor, and materials required for removing and replacing in kind six ( 6 ) rooftop units ( RTUS ) at NKWD's Central Facility . The person submitting questions shall be responsible for their prompt delivery SCOPE Project Overview: This scope of work outlines the requirements for the replacement of four (4) to seven-and-a-half ton (7.5 ton ) rooftop units (RTUs) and two (2) twelve-and-a-half ton (12.5 ton) rooftop units at Northern Kentucky Water District's Central Facility at 2835 Crescent Springs Pk Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. New VAV/VVT's will also be required for one of the units. The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project in accordance with the specifications set forth herein. 1. Project Goals: a. Replace existing RTUs with new model , like for like or approved equal energy-efficient models. See Paragraph 8 for additional details. b. Ensure compliance with all local codes and regulations. C. Minimize disruption to building occupants during replacement. 2. Replacement RTUs Specifications: a. Contractor to propose energy-efficient replacement units that meet or exceed current building codes. b. Units must include necessary controls for integration with existing HVAC systems. This includes new VAV/VVT's (Variable Air Volume) / (Variable Volume and Temperature) for Unit 11 . C. Provide options for enhanced air quality features (e.g., filters, UV lights). 3. Scope of Work: a. Removal and disposal of existing RTUs in accordance with environmental regulations. b. Supply, deliver, and install new RTUs. C. Connect new units to existing electrical and duct systems, ensuring compatibility andefficiency. d. Perform any necessary modifications to the structural supports on the roof. e. Conduct start-up procedures and verify system operations. f. Provide training for facility maintenance staff on operating new RTUs .
