Renovation of a residential development in Lowell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Project consists of: The work includes upgrading the site's electrical infrastructure by installing new electrical services and metering, replacing existing distribution equipment, converting dwelling units from gas to electric appliances through coordinated gas service modifications, and installing new building-mounted site lighting with emergency power backup. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit of 5% of the bid price . All bids submitted in response to this Invitation for Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit of 5% of the bid price. Bids will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the provisions established under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 149, 44A-J. Vendors will be required to abide by the guidelines established under this statute. These contracts are subject to Federal Davis Bacon Wages, OSHA Certification, DCAMM Eligibility and HUD Section 3 reporting requirements. The LHA reserves the right to amend or cancel this IFB, accept or reject any and all bids and waive minor informalities.
