Reference Number 0000329413 The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (MBQ) is seeking proposals for the provision of consulting engineering services required for the tendering, contract administration and inspection of phases 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the MBQ - BCSF Watermain Distribution project located in the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte First Nation community. The main objectives for this project are: Tender Phase (phases 2-4) To provide tender administration services, which include but not limited to advertising and facilitating tender process, answering bidder enquiries, issuing tender addenda, if required. To provide tender summary and an award recommendation letter. Construction Phase: (phases 1-4) To perform contract administration services including payment certificates, contemplated and approved change orders, shop drawing reviews, RFIs, To perform construction inspection services required during all construction phases including quality control activities and cost control and to ensure that the project is carried out in accordance with the Contract Documents. Provide preconstruction - planned water service routes with homeowner's consent and post construction as constructed water service records for all connected homes. To complete warranty period services to ensure all deficiencies are corrected. Coordinate regular progress meetings with the owner. Monitor and track risk elements.
