The Project Generally Consists OF the furnishing of all necessary materials, labor, and equipment for the construction of a parking lot and multi-use trail and all associated work including, but not limited to, grading, paving, drainage & erosion control. All Bidders must be prequalified by NCDOT as a Prequalified Bidder or PO Prime for their specific discipline and must comply with the requirements of the State of North Carolina and be appropriately licensed as a Contractor as provided in General Statutes Chapter 87. Before beginning work, subcontractors of all levels must be prequalified by the NCDOT to perform the specified work codes. The application to prequalify as a Prequalified Bidder, PO Prime, or as a subcontractor on any level contract can be located online The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities, or to reject non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids in accordance with the above specifications.
