Furnish all labor, materials, tools, supplies, and equipment necessary for the complete replacement of the structural standing seam metal roofing system on the Control Tower Building (Operating House Building). Work includes removal and off-site disposal of the existing standing seam metal roof panels, box gutter, scuppers, and lightning protection system; inspection and refurbishment of existing light-gauge metal sub-framing, including replacement of deteriorated members and application of protective coatings; repair, cleaning, sealing, and flood testing of the existing concrete roof slab; installation of a closed-cell spray polyurethane foam insulation and moisture barrier system achieving a minimum R-30 thermal resistance value; and design, furnishing, and installation of a new 22-gauge structural mechanically seamed standing seam metal roof system with a high-performance PVDF finish. The project also includes eliminating the existing box gutter configuration, installing new ridge and fascia ventilation systems with a custom-fabricated ventilated peak cap, rerouting existing mechanical vent and exhaust piping through the masonry side wall, performing associated core drilling and masonry repairs, installing weatherproof vent hoods and wall caps, providing a new gutter system, and designing and installing a certified UL-labeled lightning protection system integrated with the new roof.
