Professional engineering services for design and construction support for bridge deck scarification and overlay on two bridge decks over B Street NW, BNSF Railway, and UPRR Railway. Set-asides: 10% SBE. \ PROJECT DESCRIPTION City of Auburn's 15th Street Northwest is a Principal Arterial that is located between B Street Northwest and West Valley Highway North. The project's main objective is to scarify the existing concrete deck and install a polyester or modified overlay over two bridge decks . The bridge decks included in this project are located on 15th Street Northwest over B Street NW and BNSF Railway (Auburn05 per King County Bridge Database, 14,410 SF) and over UPRR Railway (Auburn04 per King County Bridge Database, 10,807 SF). The preliminary engineering will be funded by federal grant funds and City of Auburn monies. Design is anticipated to start in November 2026 and be completed in March 2027. The project is located within the City easement provided by BNSF and UPRR, and construction activities will be above the railways. Funding is provided by the federal WSDOT local bridge program grant program and City of Auburn monies. The total estimated cost of the project is $ 3,704,000.
