Description

Site work and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel.

Culvert road repairs using best construction practices. 1. Remove existing culvert and replace with 20 LF of 24 IN Diameter HDPE Culvert. 2. Install 26.67 SY of Geotextile Fabric around culvert and rock bedding according to specifications. 3. Install 18.73 Tons of Crushed Limestone Backfill around culvert. 4. Install 1.39 Tons of DGA road base on top of culvert. 5. Clean and reshape 40 LF of ditch/shoulder at inlet end of culvert. 6. Install 16 SY of Geotextile Fabric at culvert inlet and outlet. (18'L x 8'W) (32 SY total) 7. Install 8 Tons of Class II Channel Lining to culvert inlet (16'L x 6'W x1.5'D) 8. Install 8.53 Tons of Class III Channel Lining to culvert outlet (16'L x 6'W x1.5'D) 9. Install 32.67 SY of Geotextile Fabric to road ditch (42'L x 7'W) 10.
