Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The City of Sandy Springs is soliciting sealed bids for the work consisting of milling and resurfacing approximately 22.35 miles of roadway throughout the City, including milling to a minimum depth of one and one-half (1.5) inches, patching (12.5 mm or 19 mm) where required, and paving with 12.5 mm asphalt at 165 lbs./SY, or as directed by the Engineer/City of Sandy Springs representative. The roadway segments are identified in the Contract Documents. The City reserves the right to add or delete roadway segments during the contract term. Traffic control and mobilization costs will be adjusted for areas that are added or removed from the scope of the contract. Award shall be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all minimum technical requirements. The selected contractor shall be able to start work within ten (10) calendar days after the "Notice to Proceed" is issued. The time of completion for the project is two hundred seventy (270) calendar days from the date of the "Notice to Proceed." The City of Sandy Springs reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to make award in the best interest of the City of Sandy Springs.
