Asbestos abatement is to be performed by others. If any hazardous materials are encountered during demolition , notify to the Owner immediately. This package is intended to advance the project schedule by completing all demolition activities prior to release of future bid packages associated with site development, foundations, utilities, and new building construction. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the demolition Work. The project includes: Demolition of the existing 3-story, 121,600 GSF concrete and masonry building and associated utilities, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems and hydraulic elevator. Work also includes limited removal of paving, sidewalks, vegetation, and other site appurtenances. The project also includes selected salvage of interior and exterior materials for reuse in future construction as indicated.
