Construction of a concrete drainage channel, excavation, steel guardrail installation, and erosion control at Village Square, plus gabion protection, excavation, and turf reinforcement mat installation at 15th St S & 7th Ave S detention pond. Such bids are to provide for the following approximate WORK QUANTITIES: Site A - Bid Schedule No. 1 (Village Square Drainage Channel): Approximately 261 CY of excavation, 237.5 LF of Type TL-2 steel guardrail, and construction of a lump sum concrete drainage channel including removal of the existing drainage channel, erosion control, traffic control, and site restoration; Site B - Bid Schedule No. 2 (15th St S & 7th Ave S Detention Pond): Approximately 89 CY of bank and channel protection gabions, 220 CY of excavation, 75 SY of turf reinforcement mat, and associated erosion control, site restoration, and related improvements Bonds: Certified Check required, 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. Should a bidder find discrepancies in or omission from the Drawings or Specifications or should he be in doubt as to their meaning, he or she shall, at once, notify the Engineer; and if the point in question is not clearly and fully set forth, a written addendum or bulletin of instructions will be mailed or delivered to each person obtaining a set of Contract Documents as provided for in the " Notice to Bidders". Each person requesting an interpretation will be responsible for the delivery of his request to the Engineer. The Owner will not be bound by, nor responsible for, any other explanation or interpretations of the proposed documents than those given in writing as set forth in this paragraph.
