Purchase and installation of a camera surveillance and door entrance security system. Young Scholars of Greater Allegheny Charter School (The Organization) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit competitive, itemized proposals from qualified security integration contractors ("Vendors") to furnish, install, wire, configure, and commission seven (7) new outdoor security cameras at the Admin Building. Currently, the Admin Building possesses no existing cameras integrated into our enterprise Coram.ai video surveillance platform. This project represents a complete turn-key infrastructure installation designed to expand realtime monitoring and security coverage for the Admin Building perimeter and adjacent grounds, including the designated outdoor recess area. Location / Target- Admin Building Outdoor Perimeter (Building Mounted) Recess Playground Area Coverage (Pole Mounted) Next to Admin Building Cabling & Network Infrastructure o Structured Cabling: Install seven (7) dedicated Cat6A UV-resistant outdoor/shielded twisted pair (STP) Ethernet cable runs from the interior Admin Building IT Network Room/IDF to each camera location. o Testing & Certification: All cable runs must adhere to TIA/EIA-568 standards (not exceeding 90 meters). Each run must be tested and certified with a Fluke Class EA network analyzer, with digital test reports provided upon completion. o Termination & Switching: Termination into a designated rack-mounted patch panel inside the IT Closet, connected to client-provided or vendor-quoted enterprise PoE+ (802.3at) network switch ports. The project includes eight (8) access-controlled doors across the Main Building, Small Building, Admin Building, and new Gym location. Three (3) existing access-controlled doors currently use Brivo access controllers and will require replacement. Five (5) additional doors currently do not have electric access-control infrastructure and will require complete new installations. Provide a complete access control solution for all eight (8) doors. Replace the three (3) existing Brivo access controllers at the designated doors. Provide complete new access-control installations for the five (5) new doors in the Admin Building and new Gym. Provide and install all required access-control hardware and associated components. Provide all required cabling and termination necessary for the access-control system. Coordinate with YSGA and other contractors as necessary for electrical power, network connectivity, door hardware, and construction requirements. Configure and program the system, including users, access groups, schedules, and event logging. Integrate the proposed access control system with Coram.ai if supported and included in the proposal. Test every access-controlled door and demonstrate proper operation before project completion. Provide training for designated YSGA staff. Provide final documentation, system diagrams, equipment lists, configuration information, and warranty/support information. Gym Video Buzzer/Video Intercom System As part of the three (3) new access-controlled doors at the new Gym location, the vendor shall provide and install a video buzzer/intercom system for the Gym entrance. The Gym video buzzer/intercom system shall: o Provide two-way audio and video communication between the Gym entrance and designated YSGA staff. o Allow designated staff to communicate with visitors before granting access. o Provide the ability to remotely release/unlock the associated access-controlled door where supported by the proposed system. Integrate with the proposed access control system where technically supported. Integration with YSGA's existing Coram.ai camera system is preferred where supported. Include all required video intercom/buzzer stations, cameras, microphones, speakers, door-release interfaces, power supplies, cabling, mounting hardware, programming, configuration, software, and licensing. Clearly identify any recurring subscription, cloud, software, or licensing costs. Test the complete video intercom, communication, and door-release functionality during final commissioning.
