Upgrade of hoist systems at the Fourche Creek Water Reclamation Facility. A. Vendor shall be responsible for the removal of existing hoist systems and the furnishing and installation of new hoist systems at the following pump stations located at Fourche Creek to accommodate Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority's ("LRWRA") operational needs. 1. Primary Pump Station Provide and install a one ( 1 ) ton hoist capable of being centered directly above both the pumps and pump motors without sideloading the hoist. The hoist shall be capable of moving the hoisted pump completely outside the pump station door. The hoist shall be electrically operated. Other moving components may be moved manually with reasonable effort while under design load without re-rigging the load. 2. Thickener Pump Station and Sludge Holding Pump Station Provide and install a two (2) ton hoist at each pump station capable of being centered directly above both the pumps and pump motors without sideloading the hoist. Each hoist shall be capable of moving the hoisted pump completely outside the pump station door. The hoists shall be electrically operated. Other moving components may be moved manually with reasonable effort while under design load without rerigging the load. B. Due to the criticality of these pump stations to the reclamation process , the pump stations must remain operational throughout the project. C. Temporary pump station shutdowns may be requested through the Project Manager by written communication submitted not less than five (5) days before the proposed shutdown. The written communication shall include the proposed shutdown date and duration. D. Vendor must meet or exceed all requirements and specifications as set forth in this solicitation . LRWRA shall have the right to amend specifications and requirements under the scope of this contract, based on revisions in federal , State, and/or local regulations, or as determined to be in the best interest of LRWRA. Vendor and LRWRA shall come to a written agreement regarding negotiated cost for such changes. E. LRWRA shall have the right to assess damages which shall be deducted from the payment for goods. At the sole discretion of LRWRA, damages may be assessed based on vendor's failure to meet the requirements of this contract. F. All work under the scope of this contract shall be performed in a skillful and workmanlike manner using industry best practices to provide quality, uniformed and professional results. This shall include well maintained equipment. Vendor represents and warrants that the service offered shall meet or exceed requirements and specifications expressed in this contract.
