Remove Existing Boiler Feed Water Header Piping Serving Boiler Feed Pumps #1 Through #5. 2. Isolate and Drain Existing Boiler Feed Water System. 3. Furnish and Install New 6" Schedule 40 Welded Steel Feed Water Header From the Feed Tank Connection to the Existing Boiler Feed Pump Suction Connections. 4. Furnish and Install New NBG Kits, Flanges, Gaskets, Bolting, and Hardware at All (5) Boiler Feed Pumps. 5. Reconnect Existing Boiler Feed Pumps to New Boiler Feed Water Header. 6. Reuse Existing Pump Isolation Valves Serving Boiler Feed Pumps. 7. Furnish and Install New Flanged Connection at the Boiler Feed Tank Tie-In Location. 8. Furnish and Install New Isolation Valve and Associated Piping Modifications to Allow the Feed Tank to Remain Filled and Boiler Feed Pump # 1 to Remain Operational During Construction. 9. Pressure Test New Boiler Feed Water Header and Associated Connection. 10. Furnish and Install New Insulation on Modified Piping to Match Existing Conditions. 11. Refill, Vent, Start Up, and Verify Proper Operation of Boiler Feed Water System. 12. Test to Ensure Safe and Efficient Operations. 13. Perform Factory Start Up Upon Completion. 14. Contractor to secure necessary permits. 15. Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all projects listed above before placing bid.
