This project will improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance needs, and enhance energy efficiency. The selected vendor will provide and install new VFDs with minimal disruption to ongoing operations ensuring compatibility with existing systems. The upgrades will support long -term performance, operational stability, and the facility's sustainability goals. Equipment Removal - Safely disconnect and remove existing VFDs in each listed fan room Properly dispose of or recycle removed equipment in accordance with local regulations Maintain existing wiring and infrastructure where feasible to reuse New VFD Installation Furnish and install new VFDs per the approved submittals ( see equipment schedule below) Install all required mounting hardware, enclosures, and accessories - Verify proper sizing and compatibility with existing motors and systems - Provide all necessary power and control wiring modifications Controls Integration - Integrate new VFDs with the existing Building Automation System (BAS) - Ensure full communication, monitoring, and control capability Coordinate point mapping, programming, and trend requirements Electrical Work Perform all required electrical connection, terminations, and testing - Verify circuit protection, grounding, and compliance with applicable codes Provide any required ancillary components (disconnects, bypasses, etc.) Startup and Commissioning Perform factory authorized startup for each VFD Test operation under normal and variable load conditions Verify proper sequence of operation and alarms Coordinated with CCC staff for final acceptance Coordination and Scheduling Coordinate all work to minimize disruption to facility operations and events Provide a detailed work schedule prior to start Perform work during approved maintenance windows as required The Vendor will be required to provide all equipment necessary to complete this scope of work Documentation and Training Provide O&M manuals, warranties, and as-built documentation Provide on-site training for operations staff on new equipment Access, Safety, and Escort Requirements The Vendor personnel shall comply with all Colorado Convention Center and City and County of Denver safety and security requirements Per Executive Order 18 ( City and County of Denver), of all work performed in mechanical rooms, IDF rooms, or other restricted areas shall require escort by authorized CCC staff Locations The Vendor shall coordinate access and scheduling of escorts in advance No escorted access to restricted areas will be permitted at any time Fan Room 1 Fan Room 2 Fan Room 4 Fan Room 6 Fan Room 7 Fan Room 8 Fan Room 10 Fan Room 11
